About the Instructor
Dr. Anushtha Chandra is an Australian Medical Council (AMC) qualified medical doctor with clinical experience across surgery, emergency medicine, general medicine, and hospital-based care and an active registration with AHPRA. She also holds a Masters in Public Health from Australia. Her efficiency in AMC CAT MCQ and AMC Clinical examinations and the NSW Health IMG Clinical Readiness Programme, gives her first-hand insight into the Australian medical registration and clinical readiness journey.
Dr. Anushtha has clinical experience in Australian hospital settings as a Medical Support Officer, where she was deeply involved in patient assessment, ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical documentation, investigations, referrals, discharge planning, and supervised clinical procedures. She has also worked extensively in Surgery and Emergency Medicine in India, managing acute medical, surgical, orthopaedic, and obstetric presentations, trauma, medico-legal cases, and emergency procedures.
Dr. Anushtha also brings a strong public health and research perspective, with experience in health policy, Indigenous health, healthcare equity, social isolation among older adults, and community health initiatives. She has completed multiple clinical and public health projects and actively participated in rural health outreach and community medical programmes.
At Academically, Dr. Anushtha mentors learners preparing for AMC CAT MCQ Part-I AND AMC Clinical Exam Part II . Drawing on her own successful licensure journey, Australian clinical exposure, and public health training, she helps aspirants understand the registration process, develop clinical reasoning and communication skills, and prepare for practice within the Australian healthcare system.
