About the Instructor
- Mr. Suraj Chhetri is a highly accomplished optometrist and academician with a Master of Optometry (Gold Medalist) from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, India, and a Bachelor of Optometry from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
- He has served as Optometry Faculty and Clinical Instructor at Tribhuvan University, where he trained optometry and ophthalmology students through both academic and clinical teaching.
- His expertise spans contact lenses, scleral lenses, keratoconus management, binocular vision therapy, corneal topography, and pediatric myopia control.
- An author of preparatory handbooks for optometry and ophthalmic assistant exams, Mr. Chhetri is also a published researcher and an active collaborator with the International Save Sight Keratoconus Registry.
- Recognized internationally, he achieved the FIACLE Fellowship in 2025, securing 2nd rank globally in the fellowship examination.
- Passionate about mentoring, he has held leadership roles as President of the Nepal Optometry Students’ Society and Executive Member of the Nepalese Association of Optometry.
