About the Instructor
Dr. Shri Vishwapal Sivakumar is an OPRA-qualified pharmacist with specialisation in critical care and clinical practice. He has successfully led the Critical Care team at a Coimbatore-based hospital, where he was actively involved in inpatient pharmacotherapy management, antimicrobial stewardship, medication safety monitoring, and multidisciplinary clinical coordination.
His work includes dose optimisation in complex cases, ADR identification, reporting, participation in NABH medication audits, and supporting rational drug use across high-dependency units. He has prior experience in drug information and pharmacovigilance services and has contributed to clinical case documentation and academic publications.
Dr. Sivakumar holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Critical Care Infectious Diseases, strengthening his applied clinical decision-making skills.
In 2025, he successfully qualified the Overseas Pharmacist Readiness Assessment (OPRA) conducted by the Australian Pharmacy Council. Alongside his clinical practice, he has mentored Pharm.D trainees and delivered professional sessions for pharmacists.
We are glad to have Dr. Sivakumar onboarded with us for mentoring candidates preparing for pharmacy licensure exams namely, OPRA, PEBC, DHA and more. His huge range of expertise will bless candidates with the clinical knowledge and skills they need to succeed in getting registration abroad.
