About the Instructor
Dr. Nigel Leon Martis is a globally certified physician with strong clinical experience in Internal Medicine and Neurology gained through externships in the United States and Georgia. He has qualified major global licensing exams, including USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK, AMC CAT MCQ and the prestigious ECFMG certification.
As a medical courses mentor at Teaching University Geomedi, Dr. Martis has trained and mentored medical students using active-learning methods, structured workbooks, and case-based discussions. His teaching skills have contributed to measurable improvements in students’ exam performance.
Dr. Nigel has also been actively involved in medical editing for the Lupus Foundation of Australasia and has led hands-on clinical workshops, including CABG simulations and ECG training, for large student groups across academic conferences. His experience spans curriculum design, clinical reasoning, neurological examination, and EEG interpretation.
He is recognised for his ability to simplify complex topics, create engaging learning materials and guide students who are preparing for international medical licensing pathways. His work in medical innovation, including a patented wireless vital-signs monitoring device, further strengthens his practical and academic contributions.
Dr. Nigel now brings his clinical insights, exam expertise and teaching experience to support students pursuing USMLE, AMC, DHA, PLAB, and other global licensing exams to achieve a successful medical career abroad.
