About the Instructor

  • Dr. Jatin Pathak is a medical doctor with expertise in pharmacology and clinical research, with over 5 years of experience in clinical trials, medical monitoring, and drug safety. As a Medical Monitor in a leading global clinical research organization, he provides medical oversight and supports safety evaluation across multiple phases of clinical studies.
  • Earlier in his career, he worked with leading clinical research organizations, contributing to clinical development and trial monitoring across therapeutic areas such as oncology, ophthalmology, and endocrinology. His responsibilities have included protocol review, clinical trial documentation, feasibility assessments, and ensuring participant safety through pharmacovigilance and medical monitoring activities.
  • Dr. Pathak completed his MBBS from GMERS Medical College, Vadodara, followed by an MD in Pharmacology from Government Medical College, Surat, Gujarat. He further strengthened his expertise by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance (PGDCR & PV). During his academic tenure, he also served as Deputy Coordinator of an ADR Monitoring Centre under the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) and actively participated in teaching undergraduate medical students. 
  • We are pleased to have onboarded Dr. Pathak, who will be mentoring our learners in the Executive Program in Clinical Drug Development and the P.G. Certificate in Medical Affairs. These programs are designed to help candidates secure entry-level roles such as Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Clinical Trials Physician / Clinical Research, Drug Safety Physician / Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Data Management, and other pharmaceutical industry positions.
  • With his strong academic background and extensive pharmaceutical industry experience, Dr. Pathak brings valuable practical insights in clinical research. His guidance will help learners develop the required skills, gain industry understanding, and improve their chances of securing high-paying non-clinical roles in leading pharmaceutical companies.
