This exam is required if you want to practice medicine in Abu Dhabi. It assesses your medical knowledge and clinical skills based on UAE healthcare standards. You must qualify for this exam to get licensed and start working as a doctor in the region.

To appear for the DOH/HAAD exam and practice medicine in Abu Dhabi, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements as per Abu Dhabi’s Healthcare Professional Qualification framework:

If you have qualified the exam, you need to register yourself as a licensed practitioner.

The DOH (Department of Health) exam for General Practitioners is a computer-based test (CBT) administered through Prometric, the authorised testing partner for UAE medical licensure exams.
