Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is also known as MCI screening test. It is a medical registration exam for overseas-trained doctors/medical graduates who want to practice in India. The NBE conducts this exam twice in a year.
Note: The National Exit Test will replace both FMGE and NEET PG exams in future.

If you’re an Indian citizen or an OCI cardholder and have earned your primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) from abroad, you must clear the FMGE to practice in India.

Get your admit card for FMGE from July 22, 2025.
