About FMGE
If you’ve completed your MBBS from a medical college outside India and want to practice in India, FMGE is the exam you’ll need to clear.
Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is conducted by NBEMS (National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences). It is held twice a year in June and December. It’s not a competitive exam. It’s a screening test to ensure your medical knowledge meets the standards required to register with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council.
