International Express Pathway

This pathway is ideal for physiotherapists with unrestricted registration or qualifications from recognised countries, specifically the UK, Ireland, Canada, or South Africa.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold unrestricted registration as a physiotherapist in the UK, Ireland, Canada, or South Africa.
  • OR holds a physiotherapy qualification from these countries recognised by the respective regulatory body.

Processing Time:
Once all documents are submitted correctly, the application takes around 1-2 weeks to process.

Application Process:

  • Phase 1: Initial review of your application for completeness.
  • Phase 2: If all criteria are met, your registration is approved by the Registrar.

Fees: $847

  • Passport or Birth Certificate for identity verification.
  • Evidence of Name Change (if applicable).
  • Degree or Academic Transcript for your primary physiotherapy qualification.
  • Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) from all regulatory authorities you've been registered with.

  • Physiotherapists trained outside of New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada, or South Africa.

Processing Time:

  • A master’s degree relevant to clinical physiotherapy.
