Greetings from Papua New Guinea. At first I didn’t know where to start and how to approach the AMC MCQ exam. Since June 2023 when I started this sessions on AMC preparation the story is different now. The Two lecturers Namely, Dr Swapnil and Dr Udara are exceptionally committed and deliver well. SPLE Exam Eligibility Criteria
Your journey to a pharmacy career in Saudi Arabia begins with knowing if you’re eligible for the SPLE. Meeting the requirements is the first step to a smooth registration, confident exam preparation, and a successful start to your international career.
Here are the eligibility requirements:
- The candidate should hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- Minimum 1 year in retail or hospital pharmacy is required.
- Must be a registered pharmacist in any country (including Saudi Arabia)
Documents required:
- Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) Certificate
- PharmD academic Transcripts
- Valid Passport
- State Pharmacy Council Registration Certificate
- Passport-Size Photographs
- Proof of 1 year of work experience after PharmD (Internship not included)
- Good Standing Certificate from the state pharmacy council
Procedure for SPLE Exam
The Saudi Pharmacist Licensure Examination (SPLE) involves a few essential steps to ensure you are fully eligible and ready to practice as a licensed pharmacist in Saudi Arabia:
- DataFlow Verification
Submit your pharmacy degree, transcripts, and professional documents for Primary Source Verification (PSV) through DataFlow to receive your Eligibility Number.
- Mumaris Plus Registration
Create your profile on the Mumaris Plus portal, the official system used by SCFHS to manage applications for healthcare professionals, including pharmacists.
- Professional Classification
Apply for Professional Classification on Mumaris Plus. SCFHS will review your credentials and confirm your eligibility to appear for the SPLE.
- SPLE Exam
Take the Saudi Pharmacist Licensure Examination (SPLE), a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions covering clinical pharmacy, therapeutics, pharmaceutical sciences, and patient care. Once passed, your results are valid for 2 years.
- Professional Registration (SCFHS License)
Apply for Professional Registration through Mumaris Plus. Once approved, you will receive your official license, allowing you to start practicing as a pharmacist in Saudi Arabia.
Note: There is no English language test (IELTS/OET) required to work as a pharmacist in Saudi Arabia.

- There are 2 separate sessions, each with 105 questions
