Greetings from Papua New Guinea. At first I didn’t know where to start and how to approach the AMC MCQ exam. Since June 2023 when I started this sessions on AMC preparation the story is different now. The Two lecturers Namely, Dr Swapnil and Dr Udara are exceptionally committed and deliver well. What is the DHA Pharmacy Technician Exam?
The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Exam for Pharmacy Technicians is a professional qualification exam that allows pharmacy technicians to obtain licensure to practice in Dubai. Passing this exam is essential for those looking to establish a career as a pharmacy technician in Dubai’s healthcare sector.

DHA Pharmacy Technician Exam Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for the DHA Exam for pharmacy technicians, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum qualification of a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy is required.
- Applicants must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a retail pharmacy or hospital pharmacy setting.

Procedure for DHA Pharmacy Technician
Create an Account on the DHA Sheryan Portal
Register on the DHA Sheryan Portal, the official platform for healthcare professionals in Dubai. Log in to your account and create a profile, which will serve as your primary interface for all application steps.
Submit Documents and Undergo Primary Source Verification (PSV)
Upload your relevant documents, such as your educational certificates, work experience, and other required paperwork. These documents must undergo Primary Source Verification (PSV) by DataFlow, a third-party verification service, to ensure their authenticity
Apply for the Exam and Pay the Fee
Once your documents are verified, you can apply for the DHA Exam by submitting your application through the Sheryan portal. Then, you must pay the necessary exam fees to complete the registration process.
Schedule and Take the MCQ Exam
After your application is approved, you can schedule your exam at one of the Prometric testing centres available in various locations, including India and internationally. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam result is valid for one year.
Apply for Licensure
If you pass the MCQ exam, you can apply for your official pharmacy technician license through the relevant Dubai health authority. This will grant you the certification needed to practice as a licensed pharmacy technician in Dubai.
Exam Format
The DHA pharmacy technician licensure examination is a single-part test focused exclusively on multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Here’s a detailed look at the format:
