The Omani Examination for Assistant Pharmacists (OEAP) is a licensing exam that qualifies pharmacy diploma holders to work in Oman as pharmacy technicians/ assistant pharmacists.

To be eligible for the Omani Examination for Assistant Pharmacists (OEAP), candidates must:
Hold a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy.
Have at least 3 years of experience working in a retail or hospital pharmacy (limited to two employers).

The Omani Examination for Assistant Pharmacists (OEAP) syllabus consists of:
Pharmacy calculations
Pregnancy and lactation
Sterile and non-sterile compounding
Infection control and medication safety
Pharmacokinetics and pharmaceutical care
Disease state management
Over-the-counter medications
Pharmacy law and ethics

Yes, a candidate with a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy is eligible to take the Omani Examination for Assistant Pharmacists (OEAP), provided they also meet the work experience requirements.

The costs for the Omani Examination for Assistant Pharmacists (OEAP) include:
Application Fee: OMR 20,000-23,500
Exam Fee: USD 200

The OEAP exam result is valid for one year. If you pass the exam, you have one year to complete the remaining licensing steps.

To pass the OEAP, candidates need to score between 55-60% or higher.
