Greetings from Papua New Guinea. At first I didn’t know where to start and how to approach the AMC MCQ exam. Since June 2023 when I started this sessions on AMC preparation the story is different now. The Two lecturers Namely, Dr Swapnil and Dr Udara are exceptionally committed and deliver well. The team is always available to answer to us anytime. They provide great support. I have not done the skill assessment yet, hoping to get that done this week and hopefully I will sit for the exam in November 2023.

About The BPLE Exam Examination
What is the BPLE Exam Exam?
The BPLE (Bahrain Pharmacy Licensure Examination) is a licensing exam for pharmacists who wish to practise in Bahrain. It assesses the candidate's knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice, ensuring they meet the required standards for providing patient care.
Bahrain is an attractive destination for pharmacists due to its high standard of living, excellent healthcare system, and diverse culture. With tax-free salaries starting from 1-1.5 lakhs per month, migrating to Bahrain offers pharmacists an opportunity for high earning potential.
BPLE Exam Exam Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to take the BPLE and become a pharmacist in Bahrain are:
- Bachelor in Pharmacy (B Pharm) with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR
- PharmD (6-year degree including a 1-year internship) with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience
- Active registration as a pharmacist in your home country
Procedure for BPLE Exam
1. Application with MEHAN
Begin by submitting your application through the MEHAN portal (MEHAN.nhra.bh). Pay the application fee.
2. Document Verification or PSV
The documents required for licensing will be verified directly from the original or primary source. These documents include:
- Educational qualification(s)
- Experience certificate(s)
- Professional licence(s)
- Certificate of Good Standing (CGS)
- Any other documents deemed necessary by the NHRA
3. Take the BPLE Exam
Once your documents are verified, you will need to take and pass the BPLE exam.
4. Apply for Professional Registration
After passing the exam, proceed to apply for your professional registration with the NHRA (National Health Regulatory Authority) to practise as a pharmacist in Bahrain.
Exam Format
The BPLE tests your knowledge in the following major pharmacy areas:
- Social/Behavioral/Administrative Sciences
- Pharmaceutical Calculations & Compounding
- Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Clinical Sciences
- Pharmaceutical Care & Disease Management
- Basic Biomedical Sciences
The exam consists of a single session with 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), which must be completed in 2.5 hours. A minimum score of 60% is required to pass the exam.
Testing Centres
The exam can be taken at approved Prometric centres, both locally in India and internationally.
