Dr. Akram Ahmad
about the speaker
- Dr. Akram Ahmad is a clinical pharmacist, research scientist, educator and entrepreneur, known internationally for his work in healthcare education and global career guidance for healthcare professionals.
- He completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in India, and then pursued his Ph.D on full-scholarship from the Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney.
- Dr. Akram has extensive teaching experience across prestigious institutions in India, Malaysia and Australia.
- Dr. Akram has published over 110 research papers in reputed, peer-reviewed international journals like The Lancet, The Lancet Global Health, The Lancet Infectious Diseases, PLOS ONE, BMC Public Health, and more.
- His profile ranks in the top 2% scientists on ResearchGate, and has a H-index of 32, i10-index of 70, and 3000+ citations.
