Greetings from Papua New Guinea. At first I didn’t know where to start and how to approach the AMC MCQ exam. Since June 2023 when I started this sessions on AMC preparation the story is different now. The Two lecturers Namely, Dr Swapnil and Dr Udara are exceptionally committed and deliver well. The team is always available to answer to us anytime. They provide great support. I have not done the skill assessment yet, hoping to get that done this week and hopefully I will sit for the exam in November 2023.

The Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) is the qualifying exam for general dentists who want to practice dentistry in Qatar.
It assesses a candidate’s knowledge and clinical skills to ensure they meet the country’s healthcare standards. The exam typically consists of multiple-choice questions covering various dental subjects.
Upon passing, dentists can proceed with the licensing process to practice in Qatar.
QCHP Prometric Exam Exam Eligibility Criteria
International dentists must meet specific eligibility requirements before sitting for the QCHP Prometric exam. These typically include:
- A recognised degree (BDS or equivalent).+ internship
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
Procedure for QCHP Prometric Exam
Becoming a licensed dentist in the State of Qatar involves a structured process, from verifying your credentials to passing the required licensure exam. Below is a step-by-step guide to obtaining your QCHP dental license:
1. Dataflow Verification (Primary Source Verification - PSV)
Before applying for the QCHP prometric exam, all foreign-trained dentists must undergo Dataflow Primary Source Verification (PSV). This process ensures that your educational qualifications, work experience, and professional licenses are genuine and recognised by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP).
2. QCHP Prometric Exam
Once registered, international dentists must pass the QCHP Prometric Exam. The exam typically consists of multiple choice questions.
3. Registration
After receiving your PSV report and passing the QCHP Prometric Exam, the next step is to register as a dentist and become a licensed dentist in the State Qatar.
Exam Format
- Number of Questions: 150 MCQs.
- Exam Duration: 3.5 hours.
- Passing Score: 60%.
- Attempts Allowed: 3 attempts.
