Greetings from Papua New Guinea. At first I didn’t know where to start and how to approach the AMC MCQ exam. Since June 2023 when I started this sessions on AMC preparation the story is different now. The Two lecturers Namely, Dr Swapnil and Dr Udara are exceptionally committed and deliver well. The team is always available to answer to us anytime. They provide great support. I have not done the skill assessment yet, hoping to get that done this week and hopefully I will sit for the exam in November 2023.

About The MOH Examination
What is the MOH Exam?
The Ministry of Health (MOH) is for the United Arab States (UAE). The UAE consists of Sharjah, Ajman, Ras al-Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm al-Quwain: Ministry of Health (MOH) Exam. Healthcare professionals, including dentists, have to take this exam to work in the UAE.
Once international dentists pass this exam, they can enjoy tax-free salaries, a great work-life balance and more.
MOH Exam Eligibility Criteria
International dentists must meet specific eligibility requirements before sitting for the MOH exam. These typically include:
- A recognised degree (BDS or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
Procedure for MOH
Becoming a licensed dentist in the UAE involves a structured process, from verifying your credentials to passing the required licensure exam. Below is a step-by-step guide to obtaining your MOH dental license:
1. Dataflow Verification (Primary Source Verification - PSV)
Before applying for the MOH exam, all foreign-trained dentists must undergo Dataflow Primary Source Verification (PSV). This process ensures that your educational qualifications, work experience, and professional licenses are genuine and recognised by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
2. MOH Exam
Once registered, international dentists must pass the MOH Exam. The exam typically consists of a written exam and a practical exam.
3. Registration
After receiving your PSV report and passing the MOH Exam, the next step is to register as a dentist and become a licensed dentist in the UAE.
Exam Format
The MOH Exam for dentists consists- Multiple Choice Questions.
- Format: 200 MCQs
- Duration: 2 hours.
Passing Score:
- Prometric Exam: Result will be uploaded online electronically within 24 hours.
- Pass Criteria: Examinees must score 60% or above to pass.
